5 Things to do to improve your Twitter experience

This isn’t going to be a long drawn out post full of theory and reasoning why you should do these 5 things… just straightforward simple things that you can do in the next 25 minutes to improve your Twitter experience.

1.) Follow 5 people who have nothing to do with your profession but instead the profession you would be doing if you weren’t doing what you do.

2.) ReTweet 5 people who you’ve never RT’d before.

3.) Say “Hi” and “Thanks for following me” to 5 people who follow you that you’ve never talked to before.

4.) Create 5 Saved Search’s for subjects that you’re interested in to see what people are saying about those subjects.

5.) Take 5 minutes out of your daily Twitter time to have a real talk or spend time with someone in real life.

In total… 21 new things to do in the next 25 minutes that can have a huge impact on your Twitter experience.  #5 is the most important.
